First Thread!!

Hey everyone! I’ve been on here for a while now. The amount of knowledge and bullshit is so vast! I love it! Lol

I bought my DCSB 2019 SR in November. I’ve been slowly making it mine. I’ve added HID’s, Fogs, Painted my rear lettering black, go rhino bull bar, some step bars, new 265/75/16 tires and 1” wheel spacers also. I’m really liking how she’s looking. Can’t wait to get some new wheels soon!

Those stock steelies are very cool too. It’s hard to resist the temptation to change them for alloy wheels, but they give the truck a unique look.

Share some side shots with the larger tires on the stock rims if you have them.

The Tacoma lettering are stick on letters. And I did the plastidip (4 coats) on the 4x4 and V6.

 

It is not. Something I put up before I had any pictures of mine! Kind of like what I aspire to have! Haha

 

Ok. I wasn’t sure if that Avatar was a surprise we were all waiting for. A “boom....my SR is on 35s with a pro grille”, on week two of this thread.

Anyways.....I’ll clear up my nonsense posts and give you some space to post pics. I’d like to see the larger tires on the stock rims from the side.

I really like the SRs in white.

Here’s the side view. Having a hard time keeping my center caps on since I put on the wheels spacers. So they’re in the truck lol

If you painted those steelies flat dark gray, it’ll save you the need to get alloys.

Question: did you have to fork the $500 for those Predator steps, or did you find a good deal somewhere?

 

I got lucky and found them on Facebook for $200!! Lol And I’ve thought about that but I really like these bronze and black ATX wheels!

 

Hey, those alloys will look awesome for sure, but there is a certain badass charm about those steel wheels as well. You hardly ever see them with larger tires. They look good. Thanks for the pic.

Well, you came to the right place. Posting pics of your mostly stock, beautiful SR (a very pure Toyota truck) on TW is kinda like throwing a carcass (your truck) out in the street and waiting for the vultures (the mods) to come. One way or another, they will find it!

Keep updating here as you move it along. I’m curious to see what you do. I like the body stamping for the wheel wells on the SRs. It gives then a different look. Just promise me you won’t cover them with aftermarket flairs.

 

Hahaha I really did want some flares. But if The new wheels put me about the same as I am now, I might forgo the flares. We shall see!

 

Just coming here to say I dig the bigger tires on stock steelies and no flare. Looks like you mean business af.
