    Well the Bestop has treated me very well tbh. I bought it in 2010 and have had it erected nearly the entire time I have owned it, All of that being in Phoenix.

    The reason I’ll be changing it up is because the windows are slightly faded and brittle (some small cracks), and some of the stitching is separating.

    And the reason I’m going with the softopper is because I just like the lines and profile of it. It sits a bit lower than the bestop and has more of an even rooftop profile unlike the bestop’s three peaks. I think the softopper is more aesthetically pleasing.

    Hell yea you need 35’s!

    I have not regeared. I have been running a 35 going on 9 years now and haven’t had an issue. I know it’s harder on nearly every component, but I have yet to have an issue.

    As for power, I added DT longtubes, URD catless Y, TRD intake/exhaust and URD MAF calibrator. After doing that and getting it tuned, I picked up 23 whp. I did all that around the same time as tires so I didn’t even really feel a any “seat of the pants” decrease.
