Anyone use energy suspension poly lca bushings? Seems my lca swinging freely was a torn bushing. Looks like I have to buy new aftermarket stock bushings to reuse the metal components on the poly bushings .... Fuckin wack.

 

I went with oem. Be prepared to get bent over and thrusted many times with no lube.

I grow tired of dry dealership dick. Guess I'll bite the bullet and buy two sets of bushings to form one... Still fucking wack.

 

If you are doing bushings you'll need to pull the cam bolts out.
They'll probably be seized in . So may as well get those too.

You can get aftermarket Moog ones but reviews aren't the greatest

 

I've dissembled most parts on this truck. I currently run Moog. Had them stripped on the cam washer on the first attempt at alignment. Replaced my original lca with reman'd Dorman.

What are these wicked fast go-karts you are design judging?

They are university-built cars with 600cc sport bike engines. Chassis is either spaceframe, carbon monocoque, or a hybrid of the two. Rulebook is pretty open otherwise and cars typically weigh in less than 500 lb with active aero. It's more of an engineering competition with autocross-style time trials and no wheel-to-wheel racing.
