The RCs in great/exlecent condition are kinda hard to come by when I was looking most of them were pretty trashed and still asking a lot. I finally found the truck I have now back in December.

    Completely stock 2011 RC
    2.7L 4x4 5 speed 30,000 miles

Dealer was asking $15,999 but I was able to get them down to a price I was happy with. But that that point I knew that was the truck I wanted I mean I drove 500+ miles one way to get it haha.

At my buddies house right after the purchase.

When right when I got home.

They move forward when you are rear ended.. a pressure applied to the back of the seat presses on a lever, and is pivoted to push the headrest forward.

Ya they were a take off from my buddies truck so I got them for dirt cheap and I think they look pretty good compared to the steelies.

One of the reasons I don't want to get rid of my truck is the amount of work I've put into it. It took six hours for my neighbor and me to install the subwoofer and amplifier; The entire seat and center console had to come out!

Installing the backup camera was probably a 2 to 3 hour job...

My truck also has new brakes, tires, and fluids over the last year; I just had the evaporator core replaced in September 2018 at a cost of about $1,600!

It’s a good looking truck! I wish I would have kept my 5lug for a daily and used the truck I have now for camping/exploring.

08 auto 150,000 miles when I sold it.

Now I REALLY don't want to get rid of my 5-lug! The seating position is not the most comfortable at times, but my truck is easy to live with as a daily driver.

There is something really "classic" about a RC 4x4 Tacoma with a 4 cylinder motor, even better with a manual. Not my cup of tea these days but I do get it. Drive on!!

A couple of years ago I parked my 2006 at a used car lot up front on the line while I drove a Jeep I was looking at. While I was out driving, the Tacoma created a traffic jam with people trying to buy it. They had multiple attempts and offers while I was away on a 30 minute drive. They moved my truck to the back of the lot so it could not be seen by passing traffic it caused a such a fuss. The Taco is number one on resale if I recall. And there are reasons for that, even with all the zits, there is nothing to this day that equals it.
