Yeah, he was off for Good Friday from daycare, meanwhile the wife and daughter had to go to school. I was off for work, so it presented a perfect opportunity. If the weather had been nicer, we'd have gone for a hike on the acreage we have across the road. He loves it over there, and honestly, we probably all would. Its a great landscape for camping, of which we will probably do this summer. There is a stream and its really quiet over there.

I am looking at picking up a custom Ruger 10/22 with a short bull barrel. Something I can throw a bipod on and let him shoot, and I can carry easily in and out of the woods.

 

Was sorting my library today, some favorites, "The Road to Oxiana" Robert Byron, "The Proud Tower" Barbara Tuchman, "The Guns of August" Barbara Tuchman, "The Education of Henry Adams" Henry Adams, "Democracy in America" De Tocqueville.

I kinda like books that are historical, they have plenty of characters like a novel, but real life and real history.
