    But no vehicle inspections...

I wish I didn't have to go through that hassle every year to find an inspector to "pass" my truck, due to the dark windows.

Vehicle inspections suck. Had those in Hawaii too. Had to pay a late registration fee one year because I needed new tires, but couldn't afford them until the next paycheck came in a few weeks later. Wouldn't pass me and had to come back again when I got my new tires.

My other friend had a big patriots decal that was see-through from the inside on his back windshield, they wouldn't pass him either because of it, even though it didn't affect vision through the glass.

Taxes on the 95 were $35.
Insurance is about $40 a month.
It will be $70/month once my 16 year old is listed on it. That beats the $150/month for her on the Scion or the $250-300/month of the 2015-2017s my wife was looking at for her.
That is why I have the truck & she has the xB. I’m listed as the primary on the van, my wife is on the xB, & the Miata is under “antique” ...

Insurance blows. I’m paying like $170 a month and I barely even drive my truck anymore. I put at the very most 80 miles a week on it. I’ve tried shopping around for other quotes but geico still beats everyone by a good $50-100 a month.

That sucks. I pay $185/mo, but that's because I rear ended someone in Jan 2017. It should go back down to around $90/mo next summer.

When I moved, my rates went up I think $10/month, even though I'm driving significantly less. It's some bullshit. And then rates for "everyone" went up a few dollars more a couple months ago for "everyone" because of some nonsense. I try looking around every few months to find cheaper insurance, but my current rates with Geico still end up the lowest. You'd think with being with them for almost 4 years with this truck, and 3 years with my previous car and the only claim I've ever filed with for a cracked windshield, that my rates would be going down and not up...

    Yes & No

Storms are typical, but the overall weather is far wetter than normal.

Before I went to Union, I filled up (there is NOTHING between Clinton & Union if you get low on gas).
The last time I got gas was a week earlier. In between, I went from Clinton to Spartanburg, Chapin, Greenwood, & several trips to Laurens. That is on top of the usual around-town stop & go/accelerate & brake. That is a lot of miles. Plus, the interstate cruising is at 80.

I only used 11 gallons of gas.

I never anticipated getting great gas mileage out of a 24 year old truck. I may actually, like, write down mileage & fuel use to see what I’m actually getting. I haven’t really cared in years, knowing I was getting “good enough” without trying at all (driving like a bat-outta-hell, but in relatively efficient, well set-up vehicles).

I woulda been happy with 20mph. I’ve gotta be getting closer to 30.

I just had to change because of rate creep. I switched to State Farm a few years ago and was at $85/mo and left them this month because I was paying $135/mo, no tickets no wrecks, just windshield replacements. My new policy with Allstate is $80/mo. When it creeps up I'll switch again, just like I do to the cable companies when they piss me off with rate hikes.

Yeah man I feel that. Then I watch Live PD and it seems like nobody in Richland has a valid license or rolls without drugs in the vehicle. WTF is wrong with these degenerates?

Our vehicle taxes go to schools. My area must be close to the highest in the state. My 14 dcsb OR just went slightly under $500.00.

We have very little gas tax in SC, compared to NC and other states. They recently raised the tax by .03/ gallon, lol.

I have the rear cats removed on my custom exhaust!

    How loud is it now?

I removed the last muffler on my xB & it got a classic sports car sound.

Not loud- but a noticeable difference in throttle sensitivity, and can coast much farther.

Still have TRD cat back exhaust- but with larger Y and slightly larger pipes in front of Y.
