Dang. I like this one. I could dump a whole gallon into it.

 

I hate filling differentials and transmissions from the ground. I used this thing once and I was sold. I swear, I'm not bragging, but that's not actually the one I have. It's almost that one, but mine has a shut off on the hose. Didn't catch it until after posting.

 

It's well worth it. You basically just pressurize it and hang the end of the hose in the fill port and let it fill. That transfer pump would work, but you'd have to manage at least one end of the hose and pump. And if you don't have a lift.... Again, you guys are more than welcome to use it and/or my garage. I have an air compressor and a poop-ton of tools. I'm pretty sure I have a bearing driver set, too.

 

I don't have a lift but I have a big garage. I am going to buy one. Manassas is a bit of a haul for me. Plus, I will need to change my fluids several times over the next few years. Might as well get one for myself to make things easier. Thanks for the offer.

Morning ........hope everyone survived the storm? We didnt get much here but rain and wind.

Getting my rims put on today and getting alignment checked again. Then off to pick up the new RTT and check it out. Got some more mounts for the shell rack to make it a bit more secure. Trying to figure out a quick release system for mounting the tent and taking off besides just taking off the 2 cross bars every time or leaving them attached to tent rails and juts putting it up and on and attaching rails to side plates which seems easiest at the moment.

Looking to do both! Been feeling a bit vibrate-y on the steering wheel around 60. Any specs you’d recommend? Stocked height w stocked UCAs ( maybe max caster and min camber/toe?)

 

Not really! I’d just shoot for oem specs. You’re on the right path though for getting the alignment and wheel balancing done. Best of luck

I need to get my mud flaps installed so I don’t have to wash my truck twice a week. Is there any coating or wax that wicks away mud?

 

Sheesh I was told I may have to leave the truck and come back on Tuesday.
