You must be 6’5” or something.

But um no. Haven’t heard a thing.

The seat rails sit on the floor of the cab. You'd need a different seat with lower attachments to be lower.

For what it is worth, it doesn't appear that the power seat in the 2020 will be any lower either.

I am 6’3’ and that was my first thought. But after 2-3 months the seat is broken in and its very comfortable and I don’t feel the need to lower it.

If the power seat of the soon-to-be 2020 can go lower, that would be a fairly straight-forward swap for anyone familiar with basic 12v electrical

I’ve looked at my wife’s RAV4 electric seats recently and they look lower.....hmmm

I wouldn’t put it past Toyota to tie the power seats into entune software requiring you to pay them to “enable” a chip inside the seat for it to work ....

    I assume you’re being facetious.
It’s not a memory seat so it won’t have any (mildly) complicated electronics to set up. It’s just a very basic 12v system, with load (motors) and the switch to direct current flow.

The comfort of the seat is fine, it's that my head touches the headliner, I can't see the upper 4WD controls, and if I'm first at a signal I have to lean forward and look up to see it. My last Tacoma was an 86 and I don't remember having these issues.
