So I just finished up on some new flower boxes.
I tried out the waxoyl I made for undercoating the Tacoma.
Beeswax and mineral spirits.
To seal 'em, kinda, with something non-toxic. Cedar doesn't take a finish well at all.



So my wife says: FINALLY!

What the Hell, did I ever show you this?
I made a bunch with different wood combinations.
Not inlay, the wood goes straight through. That's a lot of pieces.
This one came out best.
It's black walnut, white ash, and red birch. From the state forest.

I had 15k apptmnt today at 9:30am. Dropped my wife off at a store behind dealership at 8:45 (I like to be early), arrive at 8:50. So it's just a tire rotation and they ask if I want to do the recall, hey while I'm here, why not. I ask a guy at the counter whats the best way to clean my seats and he says when service is done he will look at em.
Sittin in lobby, they come to me and say they can't do recall until afternoon. I say no problem, will do it 20k service, no big deal.
At 9:25 my service is complete. The guy I had asked about my seats was bent over in my truck when I went out to it. I said, whatcha think, he raises up and he had completely cleaned my front drivers seat. It was perfect! I thanked him and gave him the only cash I had on me ($5, sad I know). He then gave me the 2 cans of cleaner he had used (both half full) and a handful of micro fiber towels. And he then covered my seat in plastic so I could sit on it w/o getting on my pants.
I picked up my wife at 9:33, just 3 minutes after my apptmnt was suppose to start.
I cant complain at all about this service visit. Sorry this boring story was so long.
