My wife and I were laughing that, since getting on TW, I’ve spent way more $$$$ on my truck than I otherwise would have, because of all the awesome and useful knowledge gained here.

Because of what I have learned here, I have bought Fox coilovers, Total Chaos UCA’s, SCS Ray 10s, BFG KO2s, OV Tune, and a Diamondback cover. I think that was around $9,000.

So, the big question is...how much have you spent on your truck because of something you learned or saw on TW - that you would not have otherwise bought, acquired, or done to your Taco?

How many people are going to cry once they start adding it all up

I'm only in about $720 so far but I've got my wheels ($600) and a toolbox (used $120)
There is an awfully long list to check off though....:D

Tacoma World has not caused me to spend one dime. Everything I have spent on my truck was for things I had plans for anyway. Truth.

I'm betting that with that cool rig, you would have managed it just fine without TW.

Well, I wouldn't have known about the TRD 40% off sale without TW, so I bought wheels. I also bought the stupid, but much more usable radio knobs. So I am under $1k total.

"Nothing," yet. This site has been a good intro to all the possible mods one might want.

After warranty, It'll be a topper, better offroad tires, LED fogs to supplement the weird low beam headlights, any old brand of (good) oil and tranny fluid I want. And more hunting dog slobber. Winch may or may not happen. And a solar system + 12Vdc fridge. I already have the stove picked out, a Trangia 25 w/ gas burner.

Having a lot of fun looking at all the toppers people went with.

All I did was put on TRD PRO suspension, SumoSprings, and 1/2" spacer blocks under the leaf packs. All of which I already knew about. But I guess I should give credit where it is due, and say that I did purchase my TRD PRO suspension from a TW member.

I never spent a $ modifying a car/truck before buying my taco a couple of months ago. I’m up to about $700 on my Tacoma. I do blame tacoma world. I think my wife does as well.

Egads, I've spent approximately $4300 and that's not including a lift or tires. I had planned to mellow out until the damn trd sale hit me for $880:goingcrazy:

Probably around $5k. Got good deals on sliders, front bumper, meso mods, decals, and suspension group buy. It's also led to my decisodeto eventually get a HC rear bumper and full set of skids instead of just a front skid. So eventually all told, probably 8-10k whew...
