It's a computer commanded increase in throttle in between shifts for manual transmission equipped trucks.

It's a GM thing, they were the originators of that crap.

 

I'm seeing the throttle close (green) and tracking pretty closely to the pedal (white). Through it does appear there is some delay/decay. It was my thought and what I brought up to the HPT engineers, was there might be some delay/decay table that hasn't been defined. We'll see..

 

Can someone please point me to the page in here with the video on how to read your vehicle?

I had to look for it just yesterday. Watched the read and the write a few times. It’s SUPER easy even if the word BRICKABLE is in red on the screen.

 

Can we move the videos to the first page like the Supercharger thread? That’s super handy. Like if you’re looking for a Johnson pump or something...

 

My tune actually died mid way through flashing yesterday while it was in the "validating" stages for no reason. I died internally for a second, but then I just hit write again and all went through.

If anything like that ever happens to you and your check engine light is out even after turning your key on and off a few times, you have bricked your computer. If it comes back on you are good to go

 

So do I need to get on this injector band wagon? And what size is everyone going with. I’m 2.6 pulley right now. Probly will do 2.5 because why not. And I figure I should just put injectors in it

When you lay off the throttle the revs don't go down near as fast as they should. With stick I do a lot of throttle blips (and heel toe shifting) when downshifting to make for smoother shifting and the throttle lag makes rev matching more difficult as well. Stoked for better throttle response, which should help a ton.

JustDSM tune loaded but just cooked steaks over fire and inlaws visiting so my maiden voyage might be tomorrow...

 

Ok. Gotta pay for injectors now. Waiting to see how much for exhaust gears... but the wife just said today and I quote “what’s the point of working all the time
