I've heard enough horror stories about both Serpa and leather that neither will be my choice of carry without serious reason. Kydex, preferably .080 thick. Nothing else seems to be as consistently durable, resistant to degradation, and high retention.

    Yep
I OC occasionally, almost always on the way back from the range, hunting, or hiking our property, and always in a Safariland holster with retention.
The LEOs I’ve talked to around here like OC but I think they expect better than what mr WalMart was doing.

Who’s holsters do you guys like for concealed carry? I use a cheap Blackhawk holster for my Glock 19 when hunting on our ranch but it’s not anything I would use out in public.

So, I run a HK45C in an Aliengear Cloak Tuck IWB Holster when it's jacket season. Warmer weather I'll throw a baggier shirt on with the IWB or I'll open carry (Safariland GLS).

I've been eyeing the FNS-9C for a while since a 9mm would be easier to conceal but I don't have an extra $700 laying around right now.

What kind of summer conceal setups do you guys have?

I've been carrying a P07 w/ Olight PL-MINI in an Alpha Concealment Gryphon, no complaints other than the fact that I dont like the sweatguard as much as I thought I would, especially for appendix carry. It's not bad at 4 o'clock. The nice thing about the G19 is there are so many quick ship/ready to ship holsters out there that you will have lots of options.

All stainless Walther PPK/s or a Sig P938 also stainless. Walther has a sticky holster for the pocket or a Black Rhino Kydex for appendix. Sig has leather appendix and leather pocket holster. I find I carry more in summer in my pocket. It get to hot for IWB a sweat, plus I don't like loose fitting shirts.

I'm testing the leather IWB holster with the Sig. It's pretty comfortable once it breaks in. Also, this is not a typical leather holster. It's also like a kydex holster with leather, so it's stiff like a hydex holster. My favorite holster are Black Rhino Kydex holsters though.

I sent my CZ slide in to Primary Machine recently, one I get it back I'm sure you'll see it posted everywhere on here. PM seems to run about 40ish cheaper than the others I checked after cerakote, plus they mill the slide specific to your optic (gotta send it in with the slide or buy one from them) so the slide itself is the recoil lug for the optic.

Walmart, it's not worth it price per round to order and go through an FFL for me. I have to pay a 10 percent fee on it if I get it online to have an FFL here transfer it. A $200 case of ammo is now a $220 case for me. I think I'm gonna "bite the bullet" and order a bunch before the 50 rounds a week thing goes into effect though.
