5.5" circumference, so about 1.75" diameter.

I tried to switch when they raised my rates last. But they were still cheaper than everywhere else by $50/month for the same coverage elsewhere. I tried AAA, State Farm, progressive, esurance, all state. Ended up sticking with geico. Even called and tried the whole “lower my rates or I’m switching insurance” and they didn’t budge. Shit was crazy. It might be time I shop around again for lower rates. It’s crazy how they’re upping rates yet I have no tickets, wrecks, and only the 1 windshield replacement about 3 years ago.

We switched from Geico to Progressive and have been with them for about a year. Geico kept increasing the rate on us. With Progressive it has actually gone down.

I’ll have to look again. But like I said, geico still had progressive beat by nearly $50 a month for identical coverage the last time I looked a few months ago

It is. I never used it before today. Took it straight out of the package to measure the bars.

This is 100% accurate, holy shit SC roads suck. I had to take the back roads home today from SOS because 85 was shut down.

Anyone know of an actual useful satellite or 4g home internet? I’m hoping someone like T-mobile will get in the game. I’ve got Hargray, they’ve got a local monopoly, service sucks and I’m paying $95/month just for internet.

Anyone with a 1st gen (preferably a 4cyl) actually try either the intake elbow hack or the “deck plate mod”?

    Any good?

Hargray is about as good as it gets there. Had them when i lived down there and wasn’t too impressed either.

Satellite internet is expensive last time I looked into it. I looked at Hughe's net. I wasn't impressed with what you go for the money. I ended up getting one of those Mobile Hotspot wifi router dohickies cheaper and faster internet. I went with Verizon since they were my cell provider and I had really good service coverage out where I use to live.

Downsides to satellite internet is that it is even more finiky than dish TV with getting a good view of the satellite and when storms and stuff come through even small little one you can forget about internet until it passes. Expensive very expensive.

Now this is all in my area and my experience with internet living out in the sticks. If you go with a mobile hot spot based internet I would suggest going with the provider that has the best coverage and service in your area to make sure you get halfway decent speeds. Personally if a company has even DSL internet out where you are I would look into that. As soon as DSL came out to where I lived I switched it was a lot less quirky even though the speeds aren't breaking any records it was a lot more sable.

I lived out where it took 30 min just to get to the grocery store and into town. Hope all that made sense.
