I’m still waiting for mine.... think that sale caught them off guard a bit! At that price I can wait.

Finally mounted up some Falken Wildpeak A/T3Ws on my TRD SEMA Wheels. The plan was to wait for the LT255/80R17, but with it back-ordered, I couldn't wait any longer. Settled for the LT265/70R17.

Thanks for the reply, I have a 2018 Sport. Is your 2018 Pro have a lift on it? I’m trying to decide on tires, lol. Nitto, Falken or duralacs

THe Pro has a 1" lift up front. The guy at Discount tire said that 265/70/17 was the largest tire (on that rim) that wouldn't rub. I don't think that the lift is necessary for that to be true. Here's a pic of the truck with the new wheels and tires.

Yes that is what I was told also. Thinking of going that size. Is there a better difference on the stance/ look compared to stock.? BTW your truck looks awesome, black always looks great but can’t keep them clean!

Yes, the overall tire/rim height is about an inch, the width is the same. Here's the side by side from the tire size tool.

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/tirecalc?tires=265-70r17-255-75r16

I hear you on the black color- it was between black and Calvary Blue. I decided on the black. I'm able to keep her in the garage and she's not my daily driver so she stays pretty clean.

    Good luck with tire selection.

This looks so badass. I recently purchased the SEMAs and about to throw on the same set of Falkens. Mine is a black AC. Can’t wait!

I was looking at Falkens myself. I can’t chime in on my own thoughts about the tire, but my tire guy said I’d best go with some Open Country’s as he’s had some people complain about the Wildpeaks as if late regarding mileage and noise.

Appreciate your thoughts I’ve heard the same but also read on here some love them. Lol. I like the Nitto ridge grapplers however heard they are noisy. Tera grapplers to me look to much like the tire I have on now

No tire is perfect, but here's been my experience with the Wildpeaks. Had them on a 2004 Tahoe (Wildpeaks AT01) and took them off with 70k miles on them. Just took the Wildpeaks A/T3W off my Tacoma. They had 30k miles on them and tread depth on all tires were 12/32nds. Both sets were the LT versions. I don't think you will find a better tire for the price and off-road performance is great.

I think it's the best tire for the price. They ride great
on road and perform great in the dirt.
