    And people bitch about dealers.
If there were two used trucks exactly the same and the only difference was one was dealer maintained and the other was owner maintained, I would buy the dealer maintained one.

OP not trying to bust your balls but every internal combustion engine that has an oil pan has a drain plug.

Funniest thing ive read all week.

"I NEVER PULLED THE OIL PLUG, HOW DID I OVER FILL IT!!!???"

How to drain oil in a toyota 4x4(all models)

    1. Drain oil from plug(remove the skidplates first!!!!)

    2. Remove oil filter.

    3. Replace oil filter(VERY IMPORTANT!!!)

    4. Replace drain plug(VERY IMPORTANT!!!)

    5. Fill with oil to fill line(VERY MOST IMPORTANT!!)

    6. IDLE for a couple minutes and re-check oil.

    7. Have a fucking beer.

Lol I’ve done this on my wife’s Camry haha. Told her I was gonna save some money and do it myself since I’ve always changed my own oil. :annoyed: After pulling the bolt and seeing all the red trans fluid I was ready to shoot myself haha. Had to go buy three quarts of fluid and a special $18.99 socket to remove the fill plug located behind the driver side tire and wheel well lol. Turned into an all day job haha

I can not tell from that pic.
If you pull it and see red fluid, put it back in immediately.

The one bolted to the bottom of an engine is the right one, not the one bolted to the bottom of a transmission.

I ran a jack screw into the end of a crank pulley without installing the push off stud. It still pulled the pulley off, but my heart sank when I realized what I had done. I was very lucky that is only very mildly gooched the threads and that the jack screw was just a c-hair bigger than the OEM bolt. I was able to run a thread chase into the crank and it always held torque in the three times I removed it after that.

That has a distinct smell, no mistaking it for engine oil.
