Not as glamorous as the ABOVE photo, but this is what I found at the bottom of my driveway on Friday morning. Thursday night we got slammed with storms. The creek that runs along my property had risen by 12 feet. The bridge is about 75 feet from the driveway. Needless to say that bridge is closed for a while.

Later on Friday the sun came out in spectacular fashion.

Silver is definitely one of my top colours for a Tacoma. Looks great against the pink glow from the forest fire smoke, just a shame they cause so much devastation. Here in British Columbia we're in for another really bad season. In 2018 there was at least 30,000 people evacuated from their homes in my surrounding area.

Local news during a very wet AZ fall caused the wash across the street from our condo complex to become clogged in a flash flood. The resulting backflow came out of the wash and did about 100k in damage to our community including a couple units. Thankfully not ours. PD had blocked the entrance so I was stuck out on the street. This was a day after driving through the same hail storm 3 times not a single dent either. 20181023_220632.jpg 20181021_160536.jpg

The inlet was at the end of 5-miles of 3-4" of snow on top of soft sand, surprisingly challenging!

I heard that BC had a really bad year for fires. The silver does look good!

This looks like an energy drink ad. 10/10 would drink.

The sand deforms as usual, but the snow kinda holds the tires in place... the resulting effect is similar to driving in clay-rich mud :mudding:

It's just getting worse. There were hundreds of fires, many of which destroyed homes, properties, reserves. Many came within 50km of my home, I'm just glad I didn't get an evacuation notice. I'm sure it'll happen eventually though.
