I have this puppy almost ready to ride.
What do y’all do to secure your bikes when parked out and about?
Any nifty GPS locators so you can retrieve it if it ever gets jacked?F5EB8FC0-1EFE-4885-9FAC-988592104EB4.jpg

Right now I just lock the handlebars. I’ve been looking at getting a disc brake lock with an alarm. Something like this.

I was pulling the front wheel off and on and needed it that high to clear the fender. And it’s solid as hell on that jack, you would have to intentionally put some effort in to knocking it off of there. It’s probably not as high off the ground as it looks in the pic.

Bike doesn’t have discs. I might put a GPS transmitter in the tank. Or inside headlight somewhere hidden.
Course I’ll lock it too but anybody with a truck/van can steal your bike if they really want to.
I just wanna be able to come knocking, ya know?

Find a different company. You should be able to get it appraised first

No experience with this particular company, or what it would cost, but you should be able to get an “ agreed upon value” policy.

Yeah I might be able to somehow but I really just wanna get the bike back if stolen. So nobody here uses hidden GPS to track their rigs?

Pulled the calipers and and gave them a good cleaning and bled the system. They were had been dragging a bit to much for my liking since I put the new wheels and rotors on a while back. It’s better now, but still not how I want it. I’m either going to look into the Brembo upgrade with calipers, master and steel braided lines from the next gen bike or maybe just pull these completely apart and rebuild them. The rebuild kit is cheap, so I may try that 1st.

Always loved those CB1100s. Thought about the new one for my next bike.

Haven't rode the new new ones but man I love mine. Most dialed in bike I've ever ridden. The power curve is perfectly linear.

Hmm beginning to wonder if i could modify my stock exhaust to get it away from the radiators. :spy:

Dont know if its necessary but it couldnt hurt either.

DVR has a dual exit that does this. 2010-2013 yz450f went out the back without wrapping around the engine too.

I do. I've got a FIN GPS on my 19' H-D FXDR. Love it, tells me if it's been moved, sends a text to my phone, which I've programed with a certain text tone. R2-D2 sound, so I get to say "Yes, R2," haha. Offers real time GPS tracking and all that. Little pricey for the unit and install, but the yearly subscription isn't that bad after that, and it's nice for the peace of mind.
