I didn't opt for the JBL audio trim with my SR5 cause I was gonna upgrade the head unit for Carplay. Did all the door speakers too, now I need a sub/box combo that'll fit in the cubby behind the driver's side rear seat. It can be a powered unit or a standalone sub. I just wanna find something that fits that isn't 250 from *********. The box is the expensive part for some reason

I actually just got done doing my whole sound system in the truck today. I replaced my radio with a kenwood excelon did all the speakers morel maximo jl audio rd 900/5 amp sound deading. The sub I ended up going with is the Jl audio stealth box for the truck. It fits behind the passenger side back seat and sounds great. I believe it is rated for 400 watts rms at 2ohms.

That box is really pricy for me hahaha, I'm looking for a more budget friendly box combo. I'm sure it sounds great and it should if it's over 500 bucks

I looked into having different subs and boxes but everywhere I looked the subs were less rms wattage and they all said they would have to build a custom box. The price was always around the same as the Jl audio stealth box. I didn't want to spend $750 dollars either but knowing how the jl audio subs were and how the price of everything I was looking into was around the same I decided to take the plunge.

Nice. They have one available for the access cab as well.
Factory system in these trucks make mediocre look good.

Thanks ran all new wires to all the speakers 16 gauge to the doors and 10 gauge to the sub. After adjusting some settings on the radio it sounds sweet if I say so myself.

I recently had a JL Stealthbox installed. Much better than the JBL Premium Amp/Sub that came with my new Tacoma. I also upgraded the head unit and speakers and sound is even more impressive.

Personally, if you are used to a solo 10" / 12" deep box style sub, you may not be as impressed since the Stealthbox is a 10" shallow sub. I used to rock a Alpine Type InchX 10" sub, and when you go from that "THUMP" to "bumps" for your bass you definitely miss that power.

#42 or #43. All about that hot sammies.

Schlotzkys is the shit. Don't know how they managed it, but ran themselves out of business here locally.

Back to Firehouse... Turkey bacon ranch, hold the ranch and pass me a bottle of Captain Sorensen's datil pepper hot sauce.
