Going to install some spacers and I also want to be able to also regularly rotate my tires
(Sams Club did not rotate my tires as I paid them to do—I labeled them and so could tell )
Can someone direct my to a resource on the proper points to apply jacks/jack stands on my truck, 2017 SR5 access cab.
And any advice on rotating tires would be appreciated too.
    Thanks fellow Tacoma bros

    I mean… it’s a Ford, you don’t care
on the frame behind the front wheel, and under the rear axle is where I typically go with them

Don't forget a floor jack and jack stands. And, if you don't already know, always, always use jack stands and never ever rely on the jack alone. I usually get the axle on the stand and then leave the floor jack barely touching as a backup, y'know, in case of earthquake or something. And I usually jack from the base of the shackle and put the jack stand just inside cupping the axle housing, as it's often hard to get the base of the jack stand further out with hitting the wheel. And finally, once up on stands, rock the hell out of the truck to make sure it ain't coming off the stands.

Dang, why so clean. Everything on mine is caked in dirt and mud. Except for the new rear diff carrier assembly they just put in saturday. That will be caked in mud come Friday.

Besides it being a 2019. It also could be a asphalt queen like mine. :)

Make sure you put a piece of wood between the stand and frame. I used the stock bottle Jack and I think it possibly dented the frame slightly on my truck. So just be safe.

Anyone jack up their truck to install chains? Here in SoCalC, caltrans and chp check for chains if you want to proceed up a mountain.

that’s a waste of time, chains can be put on easily on the ground, once they’re on roll forward a half rotation and make sure they are tight. Good to go.

I’ve put on chains before I was just looking to make the process easier and faster.

TBH, asking questions like these and then doing it and possibly getting hurt scares me. I’m sorry and i’m not trying to be a dick, but if it’s your first time and you have to ask where to put a jack or stands, you might want to get someone else there to help you who knows the basics and can show you how to do it safely so you don’t get hurt or wreck something. I know we all have to start somewhere, but jacking up and balancing a vehicle on stands with info you needed to ask for on the web may not be the best thing to start with on your own.......

the front end on my gen1 has a circular indent on a skid plate. I don't trust a jack there, there's no way that piece of metal wont bend under load :(
