That slop hole before the hill is opened back up more I see. @overlandozzy1 see how useful a winch is.

It wasn't that bad. Took us longer because I had to get winched out. We made it up the hill climb and through the rest of the trail rather quickly.

Before which hill? This was the part after the main hill climb at the beginning.

Right when you turn onto Dutch there is a big mud pit as well. Dutch caved in on the left side and now the big hill is a cake walk but leading to it is washed out like hell. Looks like a river was running through it carving it up pretty good. Oh and this was some trail decoration. Love the trash left everywhere.

That’s exactly where my buddy got stuck last night. And the first little climb in the beginning. After that it was pretty average just slick. The back side of Daniel was actually pretty dry though

Yeah we ran into a couple of kids that were there last weekend when it happened their dad was going up the hill when it caved got shoved to the point where he couldn't go down or up had to winch up and out of it to the left. Then go down the hill but slid most of the way down and into the guard rail. Apparently last weekend was a lot worse. They said it took them all day just to do Dutch John because it was so slick and nasty.

A little of this and a little of that.
Didn’t they say something about him being shoved back 6-8’? I remember seeing that area where it gave way. Couldn’t tell you what it looked like before since it was my first time there, but it must’ve been a decent amount of earth moved when it happened.

On an entirely different note, I wonder what ended up happening to those two kids and fella riding the Chi-indo-kore-singa-tai-mongo-cambodianese special quads. That one poor kid couldn’t catch a break to save his life from having his ass crawled by that one pecker head. I got to thinking about it on the way home and the more I gave it thought, the more it pissed me off to the point of being disappointed in myself for not straightening that fella out, kid didn’t deserve that.

The walls at the Dutch John trough climb were about 13ft tall and undercut, just waiting for more water or Jeep erosion before they caved in.

That was a good dump truck load of dirt that caved in there easily. That was a walk in the park compared to before and even before it wasn't bad. Now going the reverse way we went making all those climbs through the mud and that cut out part would of been fun! I may go that route next time. But for sure next round there will be Dickey Bell and Daniel. I really need to get a rear locker and run the front of Daniel.

Working with scouts I saw it plenty before best bet is to not get involved especially when that guy was at the point he was at it would of just ended badly. I hated it too being a father but I know exactly where it would of lead too and I didn't want to deal with it. I hope those 2 kids got them out of there.
This^^^^^^ Both sides were undercut bad and really tall. It caved right where the bend was and brought a tree down with it.

To get over the ledge with your long bed you will need the front locker also to have half a chance. The bypass... well overland...

I figured that much but at least a rear locker to start. I am going to get a little more belly clearance soon. No more low hanging fruit but I'll still HC though.
