    I have a Leer DCC 23-36 wedge on order. 2-4 weeks to wait... I wanted more height than the ARE offered. Most of the others features/options were quite similar. The Leer had a longer warranty and was a bit less than the tallest ARE too...

    Hi! I’m looking for an aluminum canopy for my 3rd gen DCSB. I’ve seen plenty for 2nd gen and for 3rd gen LB but I’m having a hard time finding one for what I need. Can anyone help me with make and model info? I was hoping one from a 2nd gen would fit but it doesn’t appear to. Thanks in advance!

    Hi All, new here (this is actually my first post). Looking at fiberglass vs. Alu-Cab and I'm really drawn to the Alu-Cab for its utility and aesthetics. I've got some questions for anyone who has added one to their rig (if these have been answered in another thread, my apologies):
    1. How was the install?
    2. How did you seal your canopy?
    3. Is the brake light wiring messy? How did you deal with that?
    4. Leaks! I live in Seattle and as most people know, we get a lot of rain. Any issues with water seepage?

    Hey guys this is My new to me ARE DCU Shell and I was wondering if any of you had recommendations for Insulating this shell as to not have condensation issues, I am thinking of Using Poly board and some marine/auto carpeting as headliner, Possibly filling the ribs with expanding foam. Any ideas or advice?

    I need to finish up my build (those pics are not my rig, but very similar). I had typed a response but it ended up embedding in the quote. Whoops! If you slice the R5 insulation right, it bends fairly easily. And its cheap!

    RocTaco, did you get around to getting an aluminum cap? Looks like the second quote from kyle shows that the second gen tacoma aluminum shells are compatible with the third gen with a bit of modification.
