    Hopefully you put in an TOYOTA pilot bearing, this is what happened to my output shaft 90k miles later because I couldn’t find the Toyota part the day the clutch was installed and used an aftermarket pilot shaft bearing. The aftermarket bearing destroyed the output shaft of my transmission some how.

    Anyways got new nerf bars yesterday and OF COURSE the new bars don’t have Factory
    type welded on brackets, so I guess the gas torch and welder get to be used the next few days cutting
    old brackets off and welding them on the new bars.

    Its just a bearing. As long as its from a reputable source (NSK, Koyo, FAG, SKF, Timken) it should last just as long as oem, which is probably one of those. That exedy kit is quality so I wouldnt have any issue over installing one.

    I probably should have gotten that kit,
    I did the rear main seal and both the input shaft seals front and back on the transmission along with a new rubber transmission mount while it was out

    Drop bracket lift and booger welds
    Reaplaced the gear oil in the trans and t case. It was long overdue, especially the trans. Also painted the sliders. Lots more work to do.
