    Mom can't take care of herself anymore and needs 24/7 care. Found her a nice place, but she is fighting tooth and nail, but knows she can't take care of herself.
    It's like dealing with a 4 year old.

    I had that problem too. I just told her. "I'm your son. I'm not going to be helping you take a bath". She finally gave in and has adjusted pretty well. She still complains about the facility and everyone in it.

    I helped mom and dad some taking care of my grandmother(moms mom) for just over a year. She got where she couldn’t even feed her self anymore, was also dealing with dementia. She usually knew who we where but not that she moved down here from NY.
