Yeah the shipping cost would be through the roof.

Man you have no idea how many times I've used my rear bumper to protect the bedsides from trees. The bedsides would look like raisin otherwise.

Basically. Deer Valley has a ton of squeezes between trees. Dusy my have it worse though and that trail is up in the air for this year, should it ever open up this year.

On another note, my truck will be in the Base Camp Truck Meet! The old girl is going to look a little different than what's in the picture, but it should be a fun time nonetheless.

What happened to the roof top tent? Another quick question, how did you get your signature like that with the photo of your truck?

Sold it a few days ago.

There's a signature settings tab under your profile where you can customize how that looks. Mine is fairly simple:

"[ IMG ] link to the photo of your truck [ /IMG ]"

Obviously without any spaces and an actual link to a photo. I also have the photo hyperlinked to my build thread.

So I take it you prefer a quick setup ground tent vs rooftop? I’ve been chewing on getting a rooftop tent, but in some ways they seem somewhat impractical.

I actually preferred the RTT over the ground tent. When you compared both set up and tear down for the RTT takes about the same time, but my new ground tent is lightning quick set, but takes a lot longer to tear down comparatively. Either way that wasn't why I sold it. I sold it for 2 reasons:

    1) I hated the weight of it, especially with the weight being near the roof line. I shaved 230lbs off the truck by ditching the rack and tent
    2) it was an inconvenience to have to tear down camp just to go wheel. The RTT would have suited me so much more I had it on a trailer, but doubt I'll build a trailer anytime soon, if at all.

Thanks for the feedback. Those were my exact concerns, weight up high, can’t move with the tent up, and I’d need to take it off when I use have my motorcycle with me.

No problem man. Storing it somewhere was definitely an issue I ran into. I had to either put it on my parent's side yard or in their garage for a very short amount of time and it had to go back on pretty much as soon as I was done with using my bed as a normal truck bed. Oh well, I'll miss it, but the new set up should be much better for what I do.

Hey Cory, do you have some side shots of your front bumper on your truck? Why I ask, is I have been looking at the Relentless Predator bumper also, but no one really shows it on the truck with a side shot of how it looks. Like do the hoops angle out front, or in toward the grill. Also did you have to reinforce your frame when mounting it? Thanks

Hoops are angled away from the truck. The third image in this series is the best one I know of of the top of head.

I'll be grabbing some photos of my truck later this week since I'm detailing it. :anonymous: I can grab a few more for you then.

I haven't done any frame reinforcements yet. The current plan is to probably take some 3x2 square tube and weld it in-between the 2 frame rails up front as well as replace the stock mounts up front and beef it up with some 3/16s steel and f911 hardware. The front end will be beefy as hell when I'm done with it.

Too bad I'm just gonna cut it all off when I SAS though :bananadead:

Now you are going to SAS it, since when, haha. I look forward to more pictures when you get the chance. I see what you mean in picture 3, it looks very good!!
