I have them in a box ready to sale if you're interested. $650 sound alright? I put the 2.0s on in November they are set for 2" and are set to fix the taco lean on a 3rd gen so you should see a 3 inch lift of a 2nd gen

Has anyone ever tried to remove/modify the steering wheel emblem? Been reading about some mixed experiences, seems doable but huge PITA.

Any recommendations for places to Beach Camp in Virginia? Or even MD/NC? Looking to plan a trip in May/June with some friends, looking for some places anyone would recommend.

I’d go to OBX if you wanna camp on the beach

Edit: assuming you wanna drive your truck on the sand too. If not, assateague island is good. You can drive on the sand with a pass but can’t camp out there. But their designated camp sites are in the sand as well. This is all based off online research so things may have changed.

You have to hire a ferry if you want to beach camp your truck in the OBX. I departed out of Davis, NC and camped at South Core Banks.
I can answer any questions if anyone is interested.

Yeah, I was just reading up on Portsmouth Island, which i believe is the only place you can camp directly on the beach according to the website, correct? I assume there is a ferry that leaves and drops off at the island? Would most likely just be me and a buddy or two, but definitely want to stay directly on the beach. Campgrounds are boring to me, much rather wake up with a view haha.

The only 2 places you can park your vehicle and camp overnight on the beach in the OBX are North Core Banks (Portsmouth Island) and South Core Banks. They are both islands in the Cape Lookout National Seashore managed by the NPS.

Ferries will leave from the mainland and drop off on one of the two islands. You can camp on the beach and have a fire below the high tide line.
    It is certainly a view!

Did you go North or South Banks?
I was pleased with the camp facilities in the South Core. I didn't have to break out my solar shower because they had nice bathrooms and showers at the ranger station.

North I believe. We went to the end. No showers. No bathrooms. Digging holes and the shower on my truck.

Oh wow, that is a nice view. I'll do some research on the South portion, looks like it would work out for camping overnight. I'm also just considering a trip to a drivable beach and crashing at a nearby campground without the ferries. Unfortunately, I have friends who aren't open to off-grid camping like I'm used to :notsure:
