One quick question. Would this be kid friendly? I’ll have two parental units and two 13 year old’s possibly. If it’s a kid friendly event

Of course! I’m sure the folks that are going can watch their language  but other than that there shouldn’t be a problem

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
X2 I believe we all want to rangle in Josh’s strange stares and mumblings in the wee hours of the night. Hahaha

I thought I saw a strange man in a poncho rambling some jibberish at a Smokey fire outside of my rtt.
    Lol

We were just wondering. And the wives were curious about playing with guns, keg stands and all the stuff we did in the past. You know 20 years ago. I had to laugh But she wanted me ask

I mean if you wanna bring the guns and the kegs I’m not gonna say no. I’ll be one of the first in line for a keg stand

I don't think you have to worry about college party camping trips. I've been told by people that using a forum is "too old." Seems all the younger kids are joining facebook groups.

Congrats! I met one of the members here when I sold a bumper a few months ago, and I look at some of tech articles from time to time as well. I've owned my truck for 13 years, so I figured I may as well sign up. Blue ridge area has some great spots to camp- this should be a great time.

So here are some more pics so you guys can get an idea of what we're getting ourselves into:

Coming off the gravel road you'll see this off to the side and you'll head down it

Then it's an easy dirt road that's super easy to get down

You'll come to the opening of the actual site where we can throw a good amount of trucks

Yes there is a random sketch ass trailer there but nobody is in it and hopefully the owners can come and get it out as they were messing with it on Sunday

But hopefully if the water is low enough we can get about 8-9 rigs on the actual beach

And the easy path down here

But if it's still too hight I'm sure we can still fit everybody at the top

Good report Josh, did you get a tag # from the people with the trailer?

I'm looking forward to the weekend, should be a good time.

We do need to be careful about the beach camping if it drops back down. After seeing how the lake came up 4ft in a matter of hours....let's just say we need pay attention.

I looked for a tag or a trailer vin on the tounge but found nothing. But after you left people came up (I was down by the lake and didn't hear anything until I heard their cummins start up) and threw a tarp over it so hopefully they'll get it fixed within 2 weeks :notsure:

But yeah we'll for sure keep an eye on the water level

It was warm and then cold again, so just depends on the weather leading up to it and how drunk you are
