    Just to advocate for the devil here..

    But if we are all so concerned about erosion and these big holes being formed out there (that ultimately get taped off and shut down) why are we running the trails after such a torrential downpour? Seems to me that is the one thing I see most often that is broken of the tread lightly or leave no trace principles.

    It’s the same underlying problem (to a lesser degree of course) that Hurricane Creek is going through and is being threatened to be shut down over

    Very true. I know we like to complain about guys like Kong but anyone running it in the wet will make it worse. Hell running it at all makes it work.
