If you are talking about the rubber gasket/seal it is/was on both of mine and is likely a small oops.

@mesojdm can you chime in on this one??

Added Meso Customs Ultimate Turn Signals. So much brighter, and it looks so much better without the chrome.

Thanks for a great product @mesojdm

My driver's side bottom rubber trim was scuffed and about half of it was missing. The top trim looked perfect though and it still seated into the mirror just fine. I also had trouble with the driver's side wire connection. The OEM connector seemed to fit onto the turn signal okay, but I didn't hear a defined "click" like on the passenger side or on the OEM turn signals. I had to take it off and on 5-6 times and apply quite a bit of force to get the turn signal to work.

No problems with my passenger side. It didn't bother me enough to email Meso and bother him, everything seems to be working just fine.

The black turn signal looks great! It was the last bit of chrome I had left on the truck. Made a bigger difference than I had expected.

Easy install, but the led strip on my signals are definitely uneven. Is this normal? @mesojdm , looks straight on other pics

Thank you to everyone for the pics and feedback! And also for supporting me (even with knock off's now coming around) Just remember.... by supporting me you are contributing to help innovate and push me to make things better and better. I have put a ton of time, thought, and soul into all of my products and hope it shows in the end. V5 will be even better! I almost have a working prototype, and with my puddle lights coming out soon it will use the same harness.. Making them plug and play:D

@Tim8 What you are seeing is an optical refraction. The LEDs are not crooked or uneven. The black strip is the LED's in a straight line(seen here)

With my Acrylic diffiser in front of it, it can make the light seem uneven from different viewing angels. Here is a video to show what I am referring to:
It's perfectly normal and like I said only looks skewed from a particular angle. If you stand back and look at it straight on they are diffused better.

Are the V5s going to be the ones with the white DRL? And they'll be plug 'n play?!!!

Yes. It will have 2 internal strips. 1 white(DRL), 1 amber.(Turn) or Sequential Turn.

Just got mine delivered. Left one went up in 15 min. Everything ok. The right one doesnt light up. When checking using the hazard lights i noticed that the right turn marker on the dash blinked just once and then there’s no more blinking. Anyone has experienced this?? OEM turn signal works just fine.
    @mesojdm

    THANKS!

No, there is a thin rubber seal on the top and bottom of the light.

Are you running led’s for any of your other turn signals?

Kings, 275/70/17, a few custom items, lots of Meso mods.
Look inside the connection on the light itself. There are 2 wire pins. See if one of them got bent over?

I had a led bulb for my front turns that this exact thing happened. I straightened it out and was good to go.
