So this is a hole in the firewall into the wiper cavity? Interesting. Is it loud at all?

Have there been any updates on the MAF table expansion? I know @Roostfactor has been working on integrating a new MAF into the system, but I'm wondering if it will be needed. How is it that the UCON can see values from the stock sensor that are well in excess of the 324g/s range? Can the HPtuner's table/coding be updated to show the larger table on our calibrations?

There is progress, I'm working with HPT right now to define the IAT temperature calibration table, so we can either confirm the Tundra MAF uses the same temperature/voltage scaling or gives us the values we need to plug the Tundra values into the Tacoma table. With that, we'll be able to effectively utilize the Tundra MAF and housing for a factory calibrated intake capable of reading up to 440g/sec of airflow.

In the meantime, you could always use a larger housing with the Tacoma MAF sensor, and recalibrate it to the new tube. It just takes a bit more work/time.

I don't have a current ETA on the IAT table update, but I don't suspect it'll be very difficult for them.

Regarding reading more than the stock 324g/sec.. I can't tell you what the UCON is doing, or how it comes about those figures. No one in the general public knows exactly what it does/how it does it. I can just simply tell you it's a "generated" figure, because (as I'm sure you've seen) the stock ECU cannot see (more accurately, the MAF cannot read any more in the stock housing) any more than 324g/sec off the base MAF cal. Now there are other calculations that take place within the ECU which can lead to a logged value higher than that, but the raw g/sec maximum read by the MAF **in the stock housing** is 324@5v.

It's not a stretch. OEM the base whp is roughly ~198, and ~235 wtq.

Anyone else looking to get in on the fuelinjectorclinic.com flow matched Tacoma injector group buy?

FIC has asked that I not publish these prices on a public page, so we have created a private conversation on TW where those interested can learn the details. About half of the original 25 interested have already placed an order. If anyone else in the thread is interested, please let me know so that I can add you to the conversation.

    The pricing is VERY attractive.

I'm not going to peer pressure you into purchasing anything, but if you are serious about doing "stuff" to your truck, these are more or less opportunities to get things that really aren't available otherwise, unless you're willing to spend quite a bit more money than what they are in these group-buy deals.

Only you know what's right for you!

Welcome to TW and welcome to 1/2 of the primary Supercharger threads! The only two threads which are important on this forum for us. ;)

Glad to have another one here. It is an absolutely exciting time to be a boosted 2nd gen owner!
