Ha-- the tube vs Pipe thing I've got handled lol
Just devastated I can't use the bender at work lol.

I have noticed a healthy mix of 1.5" and 1.75" tube on my All-Pro stuff....
For a new Light Hoop and Bed Bars, I was thinking 1.5" but if for anyone/everyone else to get any use out of it 1.75" would be better, I might do that instead.

brb gonna call Metal Supermarkets again.

Old school engineer; Pipe is measured inside diameter and is always round, Tubing is outside measurement, and may be different shapes (ie round, square, rectangle, etc..)

The only die set I ordered is for 1.75" tube. I'm gonna try to get by with my long travel jack from my hoist for now.
I'll upgrade to an air-over-hydraulic from H-fr8 if this setup sucks too hard.
I should be able to bend .065-.188 wall.
Hopefully gonna bend up my Light hoop and Bed rack tubes by next weekend.
I'm busy basically everyday from now till 6/10 or so... but after that I'll be down to do some wheeling and bending tubes for peeps!

Buying a bender is one of the best investments you can make if you're serious about this hobby, so good move. We have a couple of benders between the 10-12 person friend group up here that more than cover everyone's needs (multiple exo'ed trucks, bumpers, etc.). 1.75" dies are the ticket with an air over hydro ram.

    Update:
    Was discharged
Was home for about a week
Lost all feeling of touch everywhere in my body
Blacked out in the shower and smacked my face on a ledge
May have gotten a concussion, a cracked face, and a stroke.
Back in inpatient until they can scrub my blood of all the meds that potentially caused this... (meds they prescribed)

Thanks for the update brother...keep up the battle. They'll figure this out, and you'll have yet another story to tell.

On a lighter note: is it too soon to say your latest update sounds a lot like your mod list in your profile?

"Smashed this, broke that, covered it up with tape and paint"...hope you stocked up on paint and tape.

    In our thoughts.
