it’s gonna be a crazy 3hrs

 

The matte plastic bit on the front gets cut off + 1 inch. Use 1 inch tape to make the cut line and then on the edges you follow it down and taper. If you're a little sloppy it's ok. The rubber edging goes over your cut line when your done and covers the plastic so it looks very clean.

Bolting it on can be a PITA if you're by yourself. I used a transmission jack to help.line it up while I did the first couple bolts. Oh, and don't forget to install the fender brackets...I got so excited I left without putting them on lol. Plastic was probably flapping all over the place on the highway. Didn't need to take the bumper back off to get them on though. Just go through the wheel wells.

Yea. The letters are included in one piece that needs to be screwed to the grille. Everything included in the same package.

The Meso mirror turns do not need load resistors. They are direct replacements. Some LED’s do require them if you’re replacing the actual turn signals in the front or rear... some come with load rustiest, some don’t... in which case you can just purchase plug and play load resistors for pretty cheap and use the LED bulbs you want to use.

Not exactly true, he built a 10 ohm resistor into his ultimate turns which is why you don't need to add an additional resistor to install them. He does include external resistor's with his total tails kit. Some people have needed them and some haven't. It really depends on your truck.

 

Not much point in plastic dipping mine now is there! I obviously bought it and have it installed. This could be good advice for someone else but you quoted me.
