Every now and then when I'm filling up with gas I'll get a guy that wanders over wanting to talk about the snorkel or the tent....the 2 things on my truck that get the most questions. They always ask me though how often I go crossing rivers and I have to explain that that's not the reason I got it, unless I don't feel like it then I just go "all the time man, all the time".

I tell them it’s for fording rivers. Not crossing. Google it as such. And I do it whenever I want or need be.

Man, I gotta get mine installed some time soon. Bought it a couple days after Christmas and its still sitting in my truck, along with a new radio, CB, seatbelt assembly, light bars and wiring :anonymous:. Working 7 days a week has taken its toll on mods lately

It does look a little out of place on a stocker.

A little update. Took the truck on a few trails. Last one we went through a lot of mud pools. Airbox was still clean, beside some casualties. 3 screws on the pillar were loose so I tighten them. If it gets loose again I’ll fix it, easy fix. Took the filter out and banged it on the curb, a lot of dust. The truck is still dirty, only had time to rinse of the mud.

It’s the ones on the pillar. I used tap screws instead of the rivets.

Also to add, the snorkel is still on there tight and sturdy.

Yea I’m not too worry about it. Thread lock, Teflon tape, plastic inserts etc.

Yea when you got pools of water shooting up that high :) Did you seal off all your connections points going to the airbox?
