Looking to buy a shop truck for our new LINE-X franchise. I am currently looking for a Tacoma to use as a daily driver and also something to advertise for the shop. Could someone help me choose in between the Sport & Limited? I have talked to a few guys and I am still wondering what I should pull the trigger on. I will be driving mainly highways for the most part & I don't know if the Limited is worth the extra money. I do like the idea of sunroof and leather seats but, I don't know much what the difference is in between the two.

    Any advice helps!

You can get Leather and a Sunroof in the Sport too, I would suggest test driving them to see if you like.

You can get sunroof and now leather seats in the Sport. The Sport has the skewp. The limited has more chrome. The Sport has different shocks, a.k.a. stiffer ride.

You may also consider a different truck with a metal bed if you want to show off LINE-X, as the Tacoma has a composite bed.

I have the limited, mainly because I wanted as “high-end” as you can get with a midsize truck. Based on you’re articulated needs/wants, I really hope you research this vehicle more, and test drive the heck out of the various trims. IMHO, this truck is NOT a good highway vehicle, especially as a daily driver... just read the complaints about transmission and ride. Interstate travel... expect high RPM’s, lots of transmission gear dancing, low MPG, and lots of wind noise at higher speeds.

The scoop looks COOL but absolutely worthless unless you mount a light bar in there! If you are going to be doing after market bumpers and such showcasing the line x, go for the sport imo and it should really look nice. You can still change the suspension and such.
The SR5 is actually not a bad option with several trim packages, especially if you are going to be showcasing aftermarket products and may even save you a few dollars for the upgrades you may be doing with your line? Of course i am just guessing you’ll be purchasing items to line x?

Nope... you make your own informed choice.
I would help if you were stuck or broken down though.

Since it as a advertisement truck, get the sport cause fake hood scoop looks bad ass and completely non-functional

I have a sport and love it :humble:

I say buy the limited , by the time you add prem and tech packages to get leather and sunroof you will be up to limited price . For alot for highway driving the limited will give you the best ride too .

    I’d go Z71. Or ZR2. Or FX4.

Only because OR wasn’t a choice.

    I wouldn’t buy a limited for a shop truck. That’s B.A.N.A.N.A.S.
