@Sperrunner Please forgive the thread drift.

I have a background in firefighting. A long time go in a land far away I was called into a working structure fire at a Jaguar dealership.

When we arrived it was plainly evident this particular dealership would be dealing with their insurance. It was fully engulfed in flames.

After an hour of surround and drown it was time to finish it off. The funny thing was every time the 1500 GPM ladder gun hit the middle of the "showroom floor" there would be a huge flame up. WTF?

After a quick talk with the manager IC figured out that in the middle of the showroom floor was a fully restored MG. You know, the ones that have a magnesium block.,

After searching around IC finally locates something that will put out a magnesium fire. That something is a long tube that looks very close to what a very long tube would look like.

Except this tube has a pull handle. I've never seen one of these fucking things before much less trained with one.

So in I go , with a handline as backup, which I promised to punch the operator in the face if he even thought about opening up the line, scared and stupid.

Anyway, I get to this car. It's block is still trying to burn it's way though 8" of concrete. I navy seal the tube directly over it and pull the cord. Some powder dumps out on the block. I get ready to run. Nada. Nothing.

We back out and a few minutes later IC declares the site ready for clean up. I never saw the engine spark up again and I have no idea what I actually put on it. All I know is that that shit worked. lol

    Thank you.

So in the intervening 15 years I could not for the life of me remember the name. What kept sticking as I typed the post above was Special K. As special as Special K is there is no way in hell it would have helped dousing a magnesium fire. lol

But being for reals this is pretty tight. Are you able to find parts for it?. I didn’t know the 4wd van made it to USA.

Parts are hard. Finding some stuff to rebuild the front suspension on rock auto.

Lift will be custom so will interior. Having a hard time finding tail lights though
