I had a 2016 no scoop and just bought a 2019 scooped and I don’t have visibility problem.

Does it matter? It can still induce glare so why pay hundreds for it?

Put an $80 piece automotive vinyl on your flat hood and call it a day. It still looks cool, wont blind you "in extreme circumstances" so its functional and is more unique than a scoop.

No I dont sell them but I really like them as an alternative to the scoop changeout.

It looks good. My only concern is that over time the sun will dull and crack it.

Checks have been cut, now we wait. Most of y'all know if you could have gotten the offroad goodies with the scoop in a special package you would have. It's ok, we all know. :) Appearance mods are ok.

I'm going to paint the scoop matte black I think ala Pro.

It's supposed to be 5 year automotive vinyl, after a year of being outside every day in the sun on the east coast, it still looks good.

Its matte black so it's already dull.

Not much more risk than the graphics package on the PRO only much cheaper.

I can always get another one if needed.

I like the scoop. But my sister did a similar black vinyl on the hood of her 4Runner and it looks sharp.

You can vinyl wrap a hood scoop too and then you still have a rad hood scoop. :notsure:

In other words another expense to add to changing over to a scoop to combat a negative to what you installed to make it no longer an issue.

Again, no thanks, I'll keep my flat hood.

What ever helps you sleep at night!
No one was trying to get you to buy one.
The OP was asking those who wanted one? What they would be willing to pay.

It's like Breast implants. Serves no purpose!
But some people find it appealing.
    Some like theirs Flat?

The OP didn't ask what you wanted?

He was asking how much would people (Who wanted it) pay to get it?

The clowns here honking are all of a sudden too good for cosmetic "fake" parts that "dont do anything", yet paradoxically are the same people that have block-spacers jammed into their suspensions. LOL "hurrr the scoop is fake boobs", but all the 5'7" guys will put lifts in their boots to be 6.0" and keep quiet. Tacoma world in a nutshell.

All you OR's owners commenting on the scoop and not buying because of zero functionality. I get that....I would not buy one either. In fact, I would not even buy one of those pro grilles that everyone wants. Functionally I don't see any advantage over the stock grille. New poll....how many of you OR owners commented on the scoop's functionality yet coughed up good money on black plastic? If you busted your grill and bought a pro or faux grill...thats different.

You do realize other people read these posts for information about what it may cost and if there are possible alternatives to adding a scoop if you don't want to spend that type of money right?

What I provided were some of the cons of adding a scoop and a very reasonable alternative and examples to dress up a flat hood for much less money. It's basically about adding a hood accoutrement and the cost right? What I posted was very much on topic.

I don't see a moderator tag assigned to you so I guess I can ignore your attempt at being a topic subject matter enforcer.

    Good day buddy.

Well it's clear that deep down you know that your hood is lacking something? That's why you added the High performance decal.
it's like a flat chested "Plain Jane" at a Titty Bar trying to convince all the guys that fake boobs are a waste of time!

Go sell crazy somewhere else! We're all full!

    Good Day to you buddy!
