Just a quick question I went to my local auto parts store and the guy there helped me get most of the serial or ecu number I believe. Is it called the CAL ID ?

if so my last seven digits for it is 04b0400

There was another number I was able to get in a different option and the last seven for that is 0401400

I thought I'd go ahead and try to gather some information before purchasing the tune to make sure I have the correct ECU version

Also attached is a photo of the last TSB I had done which was in October. Not sure if this is the correct TSB to have done for the Tune. Your time is greatly appreciated

I’ve been on 87 base for a while now, 10+ fill ups, and was going to flash 87P; should I reset learned values again?

It’s not necessary, but won’t hurt anything.

Clearing learned values is only recommended if you’re experiencing some kind of problem and you have a new tune with a patch.

If you clear learned values otherwise, you’re just clearing the values for clearing the values sake. It’s not good or bad.

I just went from 87 base to 91 base (after 3 months of driving). Cleared all my values right before flashing 91. Drives like it should have from the factory. Noticeable power difference in these two tunes

Not sure if I want to do the jump to 91 yet. Not that the added cost is a real issue. I just drive 70 miles per day at least. Didn’t want to necessarily burn through tanks of 91 lol

Just got back from Coachella so I had plenty of time to learn the truck with the 91 Base tune.

Getting to 75mph+ is tough with that particular tune as it takes quite a bit of skinny pedal to get there.
Ramping up to get to that speed takes a while and it wants to settle to 65mph (completely understandable).
I really had to put the pedal to the metal for it to speed up and there were plenty of situations where I should have just switched to S-mode so I have better control over the shift points.

As many have said, anything below 65mph, there is some MPG gain. Anything higher than that, the truck chugs fuel.

I may try 91 Performance now and see how it goes.

Is there an 87 performance tune? If so, has anyone tried it?

Within the first 10 miles of driving I knew the extra $5 per fill was worth it. I get it, I’m a miser too

@OVTune I see you've updated the first post for the highly anticipated EROM 2.0 will there be instructions to apply all the new features?

I’m on 87P now. Been on it for 2 tanks. It’s not bad. My truck seems to shift quick into 5th then right back into 4th. That’s the only weird thing. And getting use to the tip in. It’s quite a difference between 87B and 87P

Of course. Otherwise people here will be complaining and asking for a refund.
