    I was leaning towards an SOS concepts ifs skid at one point because @MattCowsmasher took some measurements and confirmed it would fit my truck. I think i might still do that and then just get a custom mid/trans skid. Never seen an rci skid, were they steel or aluminum?

    Sweet, let me know if you end up test fitting it! I would really like aluminum to keep down weight, but i get the feeling steel would probably do better for me

    Yessir, actually that was the plan all along, swap out my 700# springs with the 600s you just brought up for me. Basically not going to put any preload on them and just let the spindles to the lifting. Im hoping to end up with 4" but it will probably be more like 5.5".

    Im at about 3" right now though up front

    Oh, I see. So you're just going to use the KING's as struts with no preload. I think you'll sacrifice some of the ride quality mate.

    Yep, he just bought an OEM roof rack, but the dealer doesn't want to install it for him. I'll have to FaceTime him through the entire installation procedure.

    Im hoping the softer springs will make the ride a little better! The 700s are kinda stiff right now. Should be pretty smooth with no preload on the shocks and 600lb springs:fingerscrossed:

    If you want to be a lab rat for TW, you can try out these knockoff "OE Style" roof racks. There's several threads about how the brackets are all wrong and stuff, but I'm pretty sure you and Maner can cook something up lol.
