Hey I appreciate that. I just spent couple hours tonight using a clay bar. First time doing that on a vehicle. Wasn't too bad actually. So I may just get a gun and try doing ff myself also. How much of a mess does it make doing it and how bad is the smell?

I suggest coveralls, gloves and eye protection. Maybe a face mask. The smell is strong for a day or so. Avoid spraying your exhaust, cooked FF smells awful. And do it outside.

I haven't found a place that would do Fluid Film either. I asked a guy that has a shop & he said NO. Can't say I want the overspray & drips all over the place either.

If anyone locates a place let me know...

@Masbas09 & @MrBrooks assuming I'm around, I'd be up for hosting a FF party this fall.

Haha trying to. I'd be up for a ff party in the fall. Just picked up a new Camry. Do they need ff also? Didn't go with the rust proofing the dealer was trying to sell

Any wheel guys out here? I bought and installed some FN Verge wheels about a month ago. Noticed that the passenger side sticks out further than the drivers side. Measured tonight finally and the passenger side does stick out about an inch more than the drivers side.

So I'm wondering why this would be. Other than the look is off the truck drives great. Well they do rub on the mudflaps Haha. Here's some pictures not sure if its noticeable from them.

Most likely it's the bed that's off a lil bit. Kinda common issue & there's a thread on here somewhere how to align it properly.

Hmm I did see a thread on that but in my case both front and rear poke out almost exactly 1" more than the drivers side.

I'm curious... I'd double check your measurements to the frame instead of the body, see if you get different results. You're body could easily be a bit off center causing the wheels to appear out of alignment.

Yea I will remeasure it. I did go to the backside of the wheel well. Just weird that it's almost exactly 1" difference front and back.

Yep remeasured to the frame and you are exactly right. Looks like the whole body of my truck is shifted more towards the drivers side. Frame to wheels all measure the same. Will this cause problems or no big deal?

Probably not a big deal. Mostly going to be a aesthetic thing. I've heard multiple stories of body and/or bed being misaligned on newer Toyota trucks. You might be able to get a dealer to look at it if you're concerned.

Main reason is I've heard that undercoating is bad. Hides the rust and makes it spread faster out of sight. Not sure if that's true. Guess that's something I probably should have researched beforehand.
