Meh. Skilled labor is absolutely booming right now. The problem is that people think they’re better than getting their hands dirty. My father in law is making an absolutely killing doing contracting and he constantly says how his skilled laborers are in such short supply that it turns into a bidding war to get them to work for you.
My college graduate family on the other hand for the most part are unemployed with stupid amounts of student debt because they chose degrees that don’t produce anything.

 

I do agree the Americans have gotten lazier in the last 30 year
