I just finished putting on colored decals from @rrentrop and I'd like to confirm that this was by far my most painful mod, holy shit my back be feeling like a 90 year old. 10/10 I recommend. Sick looks :)

Hey so sorry, im clearly an idiot, so bear with me. But whats the actual mod here? Is it the white letters on the center cap, or...?

The wheel has a decal on it? Looking for a seam, but don't see it. Great job, wheel looks great. Got a side view of the whole truck?

Nah you're good homie. It is the white decals, the rim originally comes with red TRD logo

There's a very tiny sliver of red on the edges, but you'd have to put your nose to my rim to see it.

Should’ve taken the center caps off first.

Can this turn into a thread about everyone’s injuries during truck work?

I got pruny hands from wearing rubber gloves once...

That mod was easy with caps off. The most painful mod is lifting a T4R KDSS by yourself.

I tried, even looked up the thread to do it. Somehow my dumbass still couldn't figure it out so I had to take it the hard way :(

I did mine right when I got the wheels before they were mounted or on the truck. It was still pretty tough getting them perfectly lined up. I can't imagine doing it on the truck.

I placed them in flax seeds, dried the moisture but also exfoliates.

I thought it was way easier than the shift knob “trd” lol. I didn’t have any issues. :)

OP, 38 years ago I was modding my 1978 Chevy 4WD to accept fender flares. I was using an 8" on-off switched grinder. I was sitting beside the truck on the ground, grinding away. My grinder hit an edge, jumped out of my hands and dropped in my lap, still rotating at 2800 rpm. It missed my weenie, missed the artery but cut my inner thigh to the bone. An ambulance ride and 78 stiches later, that was my most painful mod ever. Couldn't walk for weeks because... stiches.
