There's a couple other reasons too. Mainly, because they are radials, but they also aren't aggressive enough for my taste. IMHO, any dedicated trail rig should have bias ply tires. Granted, I don't trailer the OGT and I do use it as an actual pickup truck to haul stuff too big or dirty for Natty to haul, but half the mileage I put on the OGT is off-road...more than half if you count going to and from the off road location. For the little bit of pavement traveling I do with it, I can deal with the rougher ride from the bias plies.

Now if only the new LCAs and the new coilovers cure that vibration I'm getting at 65-80 MPH, that will be half the battle right there. Haha, I'm going to be using the death sticks to compress the coils since I got these unassembled. I figure I'll either kill myself or conquer my fear of the things.

 

@Timbo's Customs.... Tim I need to replace the power window lift motors in the 06 scion xb could you look at work and see if its the same part number? Im wondering if it is right,left ,rear ,front specific. I can only find front replacements and I need a driver rear thanks in advance.

Are you cutting up that T4R for the tons?

I guess I'm now qualified to build coilovers. I disassembled Natty's OEM ones for the top hats and assembled my new OME coilovers for the OGT and I still have all my limbs, appendages, and vital organs. Didn't even spill any blood. The death sticks were definitely bowed, but for some reason it seemed a lot less sketchy than watching someone else doing it.

I should be getting my steering parts in today so I can get rolling on installing the new LCAs, coilovers, outer tie rod ends, and new steering rack boots. Then I hit the alignment shop, after which I can see if the vibration is gone. If it's not, then I don't know where to go from there other than starting over with a different truck, lol.

Thanks now that I have a part number I can cross reference and see if I can find them cheaper
