When I saw that I never opened my trading platform so fast to buy puts and no options available on it of course.

I couldn't even look up ZOOM on robinhood. I don't think they allow OTC trading

That whole thing makes me think I should look at the upcoming IPO list and see if I can find tickers that are extremely similar and play that effect. This has happened before zoom too.

Might purchase a couple of shares of ZM. Not sure if right now is a good time though. Up 10% now.

Yea I thought about it but almost every single IPO I’ve done research on comes back down about a month or two after it goes public. I’m going to wait to see if they dip then get in.

Yep I learned that in Finance class. But some IPOs are winners. Most are not.

ZM is an educational stock for me right now. Like you It’s to much for me to put any real amount of money in at this early stage- need deeper pockets. Watching it still and when the market dips see where it lands then.

Going to add I am curious if other ipos will pull interest away since this IPO is still a headline stock.

I got into McDonalds just a month ago in the low $180s and now it’s $195.

    I’m lovin’ it!

When we colonize Mars, MCD will be the first restaurant.

Seriously, I visited a MCD for the first time in decades to get my nephew a happy meal at his request. They know how to market to the next generation and it was an incredibly well run business (first time I ever saw the iPad-like kiosks that you order from instead of interacting with an employee). They are doing something very right.

Hard to compete with Ozark Trail.

Looks like it peaked over $400 in 2016 and is now down to $30. What's the story with that?

There are only so many yuppies with unlimited cash. Most grew up and realized that the Ozark Trails was a better deal.

From what I’m seeing YETIs IPO was in 2018 and has been going up mostly ever since.

Yea this is what I was thinking. How many expensive coolers can someone sell? Might be a good short termer but long term? I don’t think so.

They did lose a bit of market when they separated from the NRA. Can't go into anymore detail than that because of polotics.

I have a lot of Yeti stuff, like one of everything. I just like the fact that I can return it if it breaks, and the accessories (i.e. cup lids) are guaranteed to fit. But I agree, Ozark Trail is probably made in the same factory. I guess I am a yuppie lol

When I see a Yeti branded cup/cooler I immediately think to myself "doesn't that person know that Ozark Trail is the exact same thing but 80% cheaper?"
