I recently bought a '16 sr5 with 265/70R16 tires. I have a set of TRD 17" rims that I want to put on it but I'm not sure if I can go with a 265/70R17 which is a inch larger. Has anyone done this already?

Been done by lots of folks. If you have front mud flaps you may see some very slight rubbing which you may or may not notice. This can usually be corrected with alignment. Some have put them on and had no rubbing whatsoever right out of the gate. Depends also on the tires. My KO2s rubbed slightly, but I couldn't tell while driving. Only realized it was rubbing when I saw the witness marks on the flaps.

I recently did this to my truck. I have 2017 sr5, and got the TRD wheels and BFG k02 265/70/17 tires. Looks great, not rub/issues so far.

I run Falken Wildpeaks in this size, no rub except for one odd time.

    You are good to go.
