    I know this is tangent from the thread but just to answer this: Thora Birch was 16 when she filmed the movie American Beauty. The movie only had to secure permission from Miss Birch's parents as she was a minor. (Her parents approved it) Since the nudity itself was not sexual in nature, it was classified as "artistic" and this passed the legal requirements for having it in a movie.

    Yeah I couldn't help but think that was most poorly timed information bombshell (and most rushed) moment of the show to date...I mean the entire premise of Dany's character has been to take back the Iron Throne for the last 8 seasons/years, and they delivered that info to her at the tail end of the episode in less than 2 minutes right before a huge battle...wtf.

    If I were her I would've been like, 'well OK *puts dagger into Jon Snow's heart*....now I'm back to being the one true heir'

    My understanding is that all the magic that kept the night king and his army at bay was broken when he left his mark on Bran. Before he touched Bran they were not able to enter the wierwood tree, but once he did they ran through it and then right on through the wall, which had previously had magic to keep them out...

    I could be wrong but I understood it be that the magic is still in place, unless Bran is within the area where the spell was cast...then the spell is no good since he bears the Night King's mark. So perhaps the crypt will still be protected unless Bran is inside of it, or maybe just him being in Winterfell in general is enough to break the spell, I dunno.

    do you not recall them traveling alone together when Brienne was supposed to be taking him back to Kings Landing in exchange for the Stark daughters? lots of relationship building on that trek.

    Prediction for next episode:

    Theon, Brienne and Grey Worm meet the reaper. Most likely more, but those 3 for sure.

    And the Night King pulling an audible and heading straight for Kings Landing cause fuck all that Winterfell noise. If thats the case, Cersei = Night Queen...? Was really hoping Dany would be killed and turned into Night Queen, but who knows at this point.

    I think the Night King's #1 priority is to kill or capture Bran though isn't it? I dunno if he'd leave Winterfell without having accomplished that first, unless Bran gets taken away someplace else
