I did the same thing on my 06 Taco. Ran bald 3 sets of the old school STTs and 2 sets of Maxxis Buckshots. Most of my time was spent on the road as well, but when I DID go offroad, my truck would just hookup and go! When these factory AT wear out, I'm gonna run the new Maxxis RAZRs in 265/70/17, just because my Buckshots had great wet traction and wore very smoothly and evenly.

It cracks me up to see these mid 20s guys with FULLY built TRD pros and talking about buying their mods on credit. They will be paying off negative equity for the rest of their life

I mean I have spent a lot of money on my 2011 that I won't ever see again as far as resale value is concerned. Granted, I'm not paying for it with a credit card over the course of a number of years. So I guess I see your point.

I’m not referring to us that buy our suspension / armor with the money that we have. I’m referring to those that finance a 45k truck and then max out a credit card on triple bypass suspension.

I don't see a problem with paying for something you want or enjoy. Hell if you were a penny pincher your whole life and never spent money on things you want or enjoy, then I would feel sorry for the life you live. It's when you stop paying for things that you should pay for that makes you stupid. Obviously reasonable financial decisions need to be made but as the old saying goes, "you can't take it with you" so why not enjoy it or make something more enjoyable while you have it. I don't think anyone here that has spent money on their rides thinks about the resale value or making their money spent back anyway, haha

A lot of factors to get that number, wheel width and tire size will determine how much the tire bulges, backspacing and widest point on each side of the trailer walls

Yeah, I get your point now. Individuals who buy it as a status symbol more than anything else. I think IG is the reason for a lot of that these days. Not saying IG is bad, but it definitely brings out the stupid in people in regards to what they "need".

I really liked when the guys made the group "Underlanders" with the motto "boldly going where someone has probably already been" or something along those lines lol

They can build them reasonably quick, I get why they cost as much as the LT counterpart, it's similar amount of work. I don't get people buying them just to have the same thing as stock.

i said that in an earlier post.

I'm a penny pincher, and I do think about all the money i put into my truck. That's why I buy used and typically at about half rate. That way I can recoup more funds from it.
