Can we get some updated pics? I ended up robbing a couple of images from this thread. Also.. My display image off doesnt work.. when I shut the truck off its just a black screen.. but if I turn the screen "off" the off image appears.. Is that normal?

Do the original instructions still work with this? I have a 2017, assuming its the same screen? So just upload two images for start up and stop and make sure they are jpeg?

Make sure to make the folders.. I just loaded up 2 images and labeled them StartupImage and DisplayoffImage and it didnt work.. You need to put them in their folders

Unfortunately that is normal. If you want your screen off image, you'll have to manually turn it off and enjoy it.

Also, format your flash drives to "FAT32" before creating your folders and uploading your images.

When you manually turn the screen off does your radio turn off as well or is it just a screensaver? I'm new to all of this. Couldn't get a hold of a flash drive today.

It's just a screen saver. Anything you have running on the screen will stay running while your super sweet custom image is displayed for all to see

I had this same problem when I tried to update my screen. I tried several thumb drives that I knew worked. I also tried a couple of phones with known good cables. No joy! I did try to just get power from the two ports inside the center console. Those worked fine.

Since I just bought my truck, I took it in to the dealer and they came back with this prognosis:
"Step no. 459 in the manufacturing process. Make sure all wiring harnesses are connected."

The service tech said he tried several options, including putting in a port that was known to be good. He reach behind the head unit and found that the USB harness was not connected. Problem solved.

I don't know if you figured out your problem, but you might want to make sure that the harness is connected.

It's like a screensaver. You can turn the screen off and the radio/bluetooth stream/ipod/cd will keep on playing.

I've been trying this for probably about 30 minutes and done everything you're supposed too, but it's still not working for me.

My problem was my SD card and yes, it's very frustrating when you're doing it by the book but it won't work.

    Good luck
