    I hear that . I’m good and sore after yard work for sure . Got the front push mowed and bagged and the flat part of the back yard done the rest is about 2/3 of an acre and uphill and wet yet .

    Yea i saw. Not even gonna say I could do that push mower thing. My yard is all hills so walking up and down to pick up limbs is hard enough. No way and I push mowing that shit at my age. When we moved up there though, it's all I could afford. Now I'm ready to invest in a lot of cement! :D

    My wife mows the yard. She's never had yards before, so she enjoys it. She's just not used to the physical part of pushing a mower around lol

    I use my rider for the back and the side yard .I like the way it looks when you push mow with a bagger . I mow a different direction every time :oops: it’s called being anal :eek::rofl:

    Yesterday some of the grass was over 18" tall. I think I need to resharpen my blades. My first tractor had a bagger. I couldn't afford it on the Kubota plus it was a pain to drive to where I would dump it. Hindsight though, the less you bag the more the clipping fertilize and the faster it grows!!!!!!! :frusty:

    The native species are very resilient to sunlight, but that makes their blades stiff and thin. What most people do is water the grass just enough to cool it, but not create a kind of mirror effect that will actually burn the grass (the water acts like a magnifying glass). That's only for people with non native grass, like bluegrass
