I planned on doing the same, but I wanted to get the box out of the garage.

I'll be making another run later this month. Debating on switching up the design to a HEX style hole...

I was wondering who was going to get that one. Almost kept it for myself lol

Man. These things are looking awesome. Definitely like the ones with the grab handles back on too.

Without going back through 24 pages, was an aluminum option ever explored since the last time it was mentioned?

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
If you wanna roll a hex one out, I will purchase it and give you my feedback.

Remember, the Hex was 1” and they are spaced .5” apart.

FYI - Should you decided to roll with the current design, you may want to make the smaller outter holes a slightly wider, as you can’t get a Molle strap with a snap thru it.

How are y’all lacing pouches into this?

Mine isn’t lining up with any of my MOLLE pouches, and making a pain in the ass to attach them.

Lacing per normal isn’t possible on most pouches; lazy attachment only works on a few, and isn’t as secure.

A couple of my older pouches were able to work, ie old school Blackwater and the like, but newer more streamlined molle just didn't work. My tear away IFAK I bought specifically for this, i used cable ties to help fully secure it. Kinda janky, but it will probably never come off because it's a tear away. If someone needs to sit there, tear the pouch off and they have clearance for their head. The system is versatile enough but not perfect, the thickness of the material hampers that but I expected it going in so I wasn't disappointed.

I love my new truck but miss my Tacoma
I just found this (it's amazing how much I'm on TW and how much I still miss) and have a question. Maybe the question has been asked before but I'll to be honest I don't want to read the whole thread so here it goes.
My family likes having the "o-shit" handles and I was wondering if you can retain the handles and have this panel too?
