Theres gotta be something that keeps the vinyls shape. Without a rod of some sort it would just sag in the middle. Always wondered about that in the 92, and what James is describing makes sense.

Oh and I'm happy to report that after all that bitching about my leaf springs clunking from the main eye, it turns out I just wasn't putting enough lithium grease on the bushings. I put about a dozen pumps in them 4 days ago and the noise has been gone since, longest it's ever stayed away so I think I solved that one. Thank god too because I wasn't looking forward to having to take those apart again.

@BartMaster1234 I think you mentioned your All Pros were doing the same just not as bad as mine, I think you have the Daystar bolts too so if you hit them good with some grease it should take care of it.

At least it's not like the domestic headliners that sag if you look at them funny.

Does anyone know if I can use the fuel pressure gauge on the scanguage 2 as an indicator of fuel pump health? If so, what kind of pressures am I looking for?

Oh I didn't know you had the greasable eye bolt for you leaf springs. I would've just told you to unload a half tube per side, with the suspension loaded and unloaded. Sounds like that's about what you did. Cool it worked for ya
