Dam. Couldn’t get the time off. Is this the only time you do this? Great opportunity but I’m going to miss it.

    I'm in.
What should I use to clean the white lithium grease off my frame (next to the steering column)?
    I'm thinking foaming engine degreaser.

That would probably work, however it's just lube on top of lube...no harm

Still wanted to remove it so that when I do work on the truck, I don't get my arms covered in grease.
Doing an oil change this weekend, I'll probably clean it then.

I also don't have my lift installed yet. When I do that, I think I'll need to have my struts/rear springs sprayed.

@surfandturf I should have both trucks to bring down, so I'll be over in the earlier morning with the tundra and then bring the Tacoma down

I was thinking about that. I could just spray them after installation instead of waiting for another FF day.

What's the purpose of removing the rubber insert in the fender/door opening?

Opportunity to clean it out and hit the inner fender with FF. You might be surprised how much decaying leaves will be in there

@surfandturf thanks for thinking of me, but I’ll be in vacation at that time. I’ll do the application myself this time around.

my current plan is to drive the Tacoma & have the old bed on the back (upside down) so folk can have a good/easy look at what's going on underneath their beds. for the visual among us seeing it brings it all together, so hopefully this will help out some folk.
